On Wednesday 15th June 2022, Women into Construction held their annual 'Changing the Face of Construction' event. The ceremony is a chance for Women into Construction Partners and Contractors to come together and celebrate some of the amazing work that has taken place over the past year.
Congratulations to CarmichaelUK candidate, Amber, who won the Women into Construction: Women's Champion of the Year award!
Amber was introduced to Women into Construction and CarmichaelUK in 2021 where she enrolled in the pre-employability programme with Women into Construction CIC before completing virtual work experience with HS2 (High Speed Two) Ltd. After successfully completing her ADT qualification, Amber was offered a position as a Labourer with BBV on HS2 where she continues to pregress in her career.
