This week saw CarmichaelUK Accounts Director, Jennie Gallagher, and Senior Business Manager, Steve Castle, hosting a virtual event alongside Women into Construction, Apple Construction and EKFB which detailed our process for supporting women through their training and into the construction industry.
With the support from Women into Construction, Apple Construction Training and EKFB we can offer Women a seamless transition through their training, gaining the relevant tickets, getting onto site and supporting them with their career progression in the Construction and Civil Engineering Industry.
The event hosts each discussed their involvement in the process and their background in the industry, including some great stories from our very own Jennie Gallagher about her experiences as a Surveyor on site in the UK!
The event came to an end with a live Q&A where our attendees could express all their queries and get detailed explanations from our industry experts.
