CarmichaelUK has worked closely with Young Carers Bucks for a number of years volunteering and funding their annual Summer Family Fun Days; these events are a chance for Young Carers to spend time with Family and Friends away from the responsibilities of home life. Due to the on-going pandemic, it's been even harder on the young carers as they have not been able to spend time away from their homes to socialise and have fun with other carers.
This year, instead of sending gifts to our clients CarmichaelUK supported Young Carers Bucks by donating money to enable them to create gift hampers for each family that they support around Buckinghamshire.
We were also proud to be a part of the delivery team. Senior Business Manager, Steve Castle, Business Manager, Katherine Brophy and Marketing Executive, Mirren Dougan all took time out of their busy schedules to play the part of Santa's Elves and spread the Christmas cheer safely door to door across Aylesbury, Wendover and Buckingham!
