Canada has officially opened up the pools for 2024 Working Holiday Season!
How does it work?
If you are an eligible candidate for a Working Holiday Visa or IEC, you can be invited to apply for a work permit. This process is called 'Rounds of Invitations'.
You must create a profile with Canada Immigration to get started with this process.
Rounds of Invitations are open to a quota of 9,000 UK Nationals. The first round of invitations will begin in the week beginning 8th January 2024, the final rounds date is yet to be announced.
If you're invited to apply, you will get a message in your account. This gives you up to 10 days to decide if you wish to accept the invitation, from then you have 20 days to apply for your work permit. Find out more here.
Processing times are up to 4 weeks from the date of submission.
Processing fees may vary, but should start at CAN$172.
