Senior Engineer - Highways Design

The Role
The successful candidate will be part of a Birmingham based design team which supports a range of highway and traffic engineering projects UK wide. These projects will cover works on 'M', 'A' and 'B' roads UK wide.

You're Requirements
*A degree / HND in Civil / Traffic Engineering discipline or equivalent suitable experience.
*Technical expertise in highway infrastructure maintenance and improvement design.
*Understanding of DMRB, TSRGD, Chapter 8, MCHW desirable, and Traffic signal design

Job Responsibilities
*Responsible to lead and prepare technically sound and innovative highway and traffic engineering design solutions for various maintenance schemes.
*Provide technical support and mentoring to junior staff in their area of specialism.
*Assist in managing the team, preparing project program and financial estimates.
*Ensure client liaison for their projects and adopt an 'integrated' partnering approach while liaising with client.

*An ability to work within a team environment with a dedicated approach to meet project deadlines
