The company

Our client is a specialist engineering company providing construction and engineering services to high value projects across the UK managing every stage across the project lifecycle; from initial feasibility study through to completion and maintenance.
They are now looking to recruit a key figure to develop business across their Western Division

The role

This is a business development role that will require candidates to possess extensive industry knowledge and experience. You will be required to promote the company and the group across the industry strengthening its brand through the implementation of strategic marketing and PR activity. You will be responsible for operating at the highest level, forging new client relationships across the sector at the and strengthen existing ones - both internal and externally. Ideally you will be a proven operator at board level

The candidate:
*Broad knowledge of the industry and markets with the ability to identify and create new business opportunities
*Proven in managing, strengthening and influencing relationships across the management structure
*Originate and implement strategic marketing & business development strategy.
*Possesses good presentation and negotiating skills; with the ability to present at board level
*Ideally will posses a relevant degree or equivalent
