CONSTRUCTION MANAGER - HEALTH
LONDON
UP TO £45K DOE + PACKAGE INCLUDING CAR AND SHARE OPTIONS

Our client is one Europe's leading Civil and Construction organisations who are major players in the Civil, Construction, Utilities and Facilities Management sectors with many recognised major projects to their name.

We are now looking to recruit a Construction Manager with experience of major construction projects within the health sector. Ideally you will have been recently involved in the construction or redevelopment of Hospitals within the UK and will have been personally responsible for works up to or in excess of £10M

Reporting to the project manager you will be responsible for but not limited to;

The supervision and constant monitoring of all site works in accordance with company procedures, programme requirements and project specifications.

Design review / change
Input on commercial issues and to work closely with cost engineering / control dept
Management of all sub contractors and packages on site
Work closely with project managers providing ongoing feedback on any issues likely to affect construction and to come up with innovative ideas and solutions to ensure minimal disruption of the construction programme

Work closely with the project team including managers, supervisors and graduates including giving team briefs, personnel appraisals and delegating and supervising etc.


Qualifications & required experience
Construction related qualification to HNC level or equivalent
Previous experience as a Construction manager on major projects - preferably within the health sector
Management experience of multiple trade contractors
Working towards membership of a professional institution (MCIOB highly desirable)
