Job Title: Construction / Building Planner
Company: Our client has been established in the UK Building Market for over 30 years working on the delivery of major building and construction projects. Latterly they have been heavily involved in a number of government initiatives including PFI and PPP projects and the widely recognised Building Schools for Future programme.
Location: London
Type: Permanent
Payrate: Up to £55K - £60K pa plus package.
Project: Working on a New Build Education Projects in South London circa £20 million.
Main Duties
The successful candidate will bring to the role:

*Establish and maintain integrated programme from initial concept, through design, off-site fabrication, and construction to handover.
*Monitor progress of the design, and of later activities and advice management on adjustment of programme and resources.
*Develop, manage and monitor the progress of design deliverables using the project planning software and spreadsheets.
*Report progress regularly.
*Manage activity coding for task team.
*Compile necessary sub-task programmes.
*Manage assistant production staff as required.
*Produce work package planning programme with 2 week look ahead and resource requirements.
Requirements
*A BSC (Hons) Construction Management or Equivalent
*Experience in a similar role within the Construction Industry
*Worked on projects £15Million and above
*Good communication and interpersonal skills
*Excellent IT Skills
