The Design Coordination Engineer will be involved with tendering for a design and build contractor to Network Rail Assets. This role requires someone who will be confident and organised enough to deal with issues straight away and act in a timely manor. The design coordination engineer will be reviewing the consultants design, submitting them for approval, and follow up to extract approvals from the client.

Role Description

The Design Coordination Engineer will be responsible for day to day site activities, including;
*Reviewing and commenting on designs
*Liaising with the client, design consultant and third parties
*Tracking the progress of designs submitted for approval
*Assisting the management team to extract approvals

Required Experience
*HNC or HND in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
*Excellent inter-personal and design co-ordination skills
*Previous experience in a similar role is fundamental
*Previous rail experience would be an advantage
