Highway Design Engineers

One of the major highways consultancies in the UK is looking for an experienced Highway Design Engineers at various levels to join its team of highly successful engineers and technicians.

The project will involve a massive upgrade to an existing motorway in North London.  The role will involve detailed design of large schemes including motorway upgrading and widening projects and relevant upgrades as a result of these works (bridge widening etc).  You will also be required to provide support to the construction with the regards to technical queries.

Requirements

• Bachelors Degree (BEng) in Civil Engineering or similar industry related qualification
• You will have an understanding of highway design principles and experience of the design of highways or infrastucture schemes
• Proficient in producing highway designes using AutoCAD and Microstation
• Preferably you will be familiar with MX, Autosign, Autotrack and PDSLine software
• You must be able to work on your own initiative and will be responsible for design, drawing production and direction of others as required
• Must enjoy operating in a team environment
