The Company
The prestigious blue chip company who works internationally and has currently a major stake hold in the construction of Olympic related projects is seeking driven and experienced general foreman for the large project.
Main Duties
Your responsibilities will include the managing and development of the production staff, management of plant and resources, together with the management of construction activities on one of the most high profile civil contracts within the South East of England over the next few years.
Requirements
The successful candidate will bring to the role;
- Application of knowledge and experience gained in a heavy civil environment
- A practical minded hands-on approach coupled with a history of delivering successful large scale civil projects
- A good attitude with proven leadership qualities
- Have a proven technical knowledge ability on plant and resources and excellent communication and people skills
- Managing Sub-contractors and suppliers on site
- Good understanding of competency for production works undertaken by others
Benefits
A desirable salary of between £35-45k + Package dependent on experience will be offered to the successful candidate. Package will include health insurance, phone, car + bonus, plus 25 days annual leave.
