A confident well versed Civil Engineering CAD Technician who has up to date full version AutoCAD skills with an ability to display a flair for the work involved. (Additional familiarity with Microstation /ESRI shape files / GIS inputs would be beneficial)
Responsibilities
· Able to maintain a drawing library and archive system and have office skills.
· Working with and alongside other members of the team and be able to prioritise workloads.
· Reporting to Site Agent and Survey Manager for day to day procedures.
· Responsible for providing AutoCAD support throughout all the business sectors.
· Preferable attributes to include civil engineering and surveying experience.
· Preferably you will have an HNC qualification and a minimum of 5 years experience of site work.
· Attend and contribute to site meetings.
· The ability to deal with a high work load and work well under pressure.
· Excellent organisation skills, flexible with good interpersonal skills.
· Must be able to commit to deadlines and willing to work extra hours when needed.
· Enthusiastic personality.
Requirements
· Minimum of 3 years experience using AutoCAD.
· Working knowledge of a 3D modeling package.
· To use AutoCAD 2004 or higher.
· Working knowledge of Microstation and ESRI Shape files
· Ability to prioritise workloads in an effective manner.
· The ability to deal with a high work load and work well under pressure.
· Excellent organisation skills, flexible with good interpersonal skills.
