A vacancy has arisen to work on large scale road projects for a major contractor working in partnership with the Highways Agency.
Reporting to the Construction Manager, duties will include:
- Setting out the works
- Monitoring productivity and supervising operatives and subcontractors associated with plant
- Monitoring activities to ensure finished work is in accordance with design, drawings and specifications
- Identifying and resolving technical queries
- Producing method statements, risk assessments, operation, inspection and test plans
Requirements:
A HND or degree in a construction related field would be highly regarded, as well as proven engineering experience including setting out and use of quality systems and management.
Benefits:
