Project Quantity Surveyors are required to provide quantity surveyor duties on major projects to protect our client's interest and deliver tender margin-plus with effective cost and value management.
Main duties will include:
- Procurement of works to meet programme and tender allowances
- Payment applications and collection of cash
- Supply chain management and payment
- Change Control
- Monthly Cost and Value Reporting
- Forecasting out-turn cost and value
- Risk / Opportunity Management
- Developing junior members of team
- Commercial interaction with Client and Operations Team
Requirements:
The ideal candidates will have:
- London Underground and Network Rail experience beneficial especially for Brixton
- NEC contracts experience
- Competence in IT, inparticular Excel and Word
- COINS cost database knowledge (desirable but not essential)
