Due to an increased workload, our client requires a Site Engineer based in the Taranaki area to assist on site in the management of civil engineering projects.
This position would suit an experienced NZCE or a recently graduated BE (Civil) who also has NZCE and work experience (or UK equivalent).
Requirements:
- An interest in civil engineering construction usually in reinforced concrete structures such as hydro, bridges, piling and wharves.
- The ability to handle the on site administration of such projects
- Experience in quality control and on site testing of concrete etc.
- Survey/ set out experience.
- Computer literacy
- Current references and employment record
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
