Based in the Matamata Piako District of the Waikato region, you will manage the delivery of the Matamata Piako District Council maintenance contract. This contract is a full delivery road maintenance contract with a term of 3 years and 2 x 1 year extensions from 1st July 2007.

 

As the Maintenance Manager, you will have full responsibility for the financial, planning and operational management of the Maintenance Contract for Matamata Piako District Council. Your responsibilities will include:

 

  • Managing and developing staff
  • Customer relationship management
  • Financial reporting
  • Planning and implementation
  • Management of resources
  • Daily management overview of the contract

 

Requirements:

 

  • A strong financial and business acumen
  • A solutions-oriented attitude with excellent leadership qualities
  • Proven communication skills with a passion to succeed in business management
  • Practical minded hands-on approach coupled with a history of success in road construction
