Main contractor seeks Depot Manager for long term contract, working on a large highways project.
The Depot provides safety and maintenance repairs, as well as 24 hour emergency response crew for hazards such as flooding, pot holes, fallen trees etc.
Duties include:
- Planning workloads and rosters
- Coaching and training staff
- Monitoring and allocating depot costs
- Delegating tasks to team members
- Complaint handling
- Planning the delivery and allocation of materials, plant, vehicles and equipment
- Carrying out appraisals and completing relevant paperwork
Requirements:
- Degree educated
- Proven experience in a similar role
- Excellent man management and communication skills
