One of Australia's main contractors is looking for an Environmental Officer/Manager to work on a major roads project, ensuring the effective delivery of environmental services to ensure that the project meets environmental responsibilities and objectives.
Duties will include:
- Providing responsive and accurate environmental management services
- Assisting in the development and enforcement of standards to ensure the project complies with environmental regulatory and governance requirements
- Building and maintaining productive internal and external relationships
- Leading and developing an effective and productive team, developing broader succession planning outcomes
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in environmental management or engineering
- Excellent commercial focus and business acumen
- Experience in a similar role
