Working for a large blue chip contractor in New Zealand specialising within the roads sector, this job involves working on large new build projects including sub-divisions, motorways and highways, as well as the maintenance and upgrade of existing carriageways and local networks.
You will be directly responsible for:
- Day to day management of site
- Planning
- Programming
- Managing sub-contractors and direct labour
- Health, safety and QA
and will be involved in the earthworks, drainage, services, structures and pavement construction.
The ideal applicant will be degree qualified and have experience in the above, although this is not essential. They will be an outgoing character and will enjoy being involved on-site, with a desire to accept a new challenge in New Zealand.
