Our client is a market leader in the road building and maintenance industry based in New Zealand. They are currently recruiting for numerous Project Managers on road maintenance contracts located in the south island of New Zealand.
You will be reporting the the Area Manager, and will be involved in the day to day running of the contract as well as being in constand liaison with sub-contractors, clients and the public.
Main duties will include:
- Managing sub-contractors and own resources
- Certifying variations and payments
- Organising plant labour and material for the project
- Liaising with the designers and the client
Requirements:
- A formal civil engineering qualification
- Proven site experience
- Experience on heavy civils project (ideally)
- Effective leadership skills
- Strong communication skills
- Cuirrent valid driving licence
