Overview
Competent with standard forms of measurement. Good knowledge of drainage, irrigation, minor civils and earthworks. Competent in preparation of bills of quantities and material take-offs. Good general construction knowledge including construction buying markets and construction techniques.

General duties to Include:
Take off all materials from drawings in order to produce a purchase order
Compare quantities from revised drawings and identify changes
Compare specification changes from revised documents
Interpret drawings and specification and raise queries with the client as required
Make initial enquiries with suppliers and sub-contractors

Candidates must be;
Able to work within a busy construction environment
Prepared to use own initiative and adapt to changing workloads and prioritise
